Can I get a permit on a rental car?

Can Non-Resident Seasonal Renters (Westhampton, Remsenburg, Speonk, Quiogue) get a beach pass?

Yes, rentals must have the following:

Requirements:

  • Letter from Homeowner to the Village giving permission to transfer the permit to the tenant. (1) Car sticker must be made available to the tenant.
  • Town Tax Bill

  • Early Registration: Saturday, May 10th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Village Hall 
  • WEEKENDS from MAY 24, 2025 THRU JUNE 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM– 5:00 PM  at Rogers Beach
  • 7 DAYS/WEEK  from JUNE 28, 2025 THRU SEPTEMBER 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM– 5:00 PM  at Rogers Beach.

I am a student at Westhampton Beach, can I still get a walk on pass?

Yes, (1) walk on pass per student, no car stickers will be given to students.

I am renting in the Village for the summer, how can I get a beach pass?

The Landlord must complete a Summer Rental application in the Village of Westhampton Building Department and be willing to give up their beach sticker to the renter. https://www.westhamptonbeach.gov/documents/summer-rental-application/

Yes, passes are transferable to tenant at owners discretion. A commercial property application must be on file.

I just purchased a new home, what documentation do I need?

New homeowners must provide a copy of their tax bill, deed (less than 6 months) or closing papers. As long as the first and last names match on the vehicle registration to one of these documents, you will be fine.

I rent year round but not in the Village, can I get a beach pass?
